Black & White II

Here is my second outfit from the 1/2 price shopping at the Salvation Army. I love this New York & Company white jacket. I am wearing it with my black skirt and black shell. I bought the little flower white with black polka dots at the Hobby Lobby for $1.99.

The Good Old Red White and Blue on a Budget!!!!

Ok so here is my Red Talbot's jacket in full use. I am wearing it with a navy blue shell $2.99 at the Goodwill and a white & blue Ralph Lauren skirt $3.99 at the Goodwill. I purchased the skirt last summer, I have lost some inches around my waist so the skirt is a little big. Safety pins work wonders when your in a pinch for a seamstress!!!! lol

I sure do love 1/2 Priced Wednesday's at the Salvation Army!!!

I visited my local Salvation Army last Wednesday and these are some of the great bargains I found!!!!!!! I so love my Salvation Army!!! What do you need in order to find treasure's like these, 1. Patience 2. Time 3. Just a little bit of money!!! "Best Dressed on a Budget!"

The first item I found on Wednesday was this fun lime green polka dot top from Cato. I am a green person expecially when I can wear this little top with my white capri's that I so love, with my denim shorts, and my denim blue jean short skirt (I have yet to post my denim finds). I left the price tags on the items so you can see what these items were priced. Remember it was 1/2 price Wednesday so I got this pretty on SALE!!!

The next little hott item I found was this "Hot Tamale" Talbot's red jacket. I can see myself wearing this with some white or cream slacks. I also think this will look great with a navy blue shell and the white slacks. I so love to wear red, white, and blue. Note the price tag and again remember it was 1/2 price day!!!!

Then I found this white little number. If you will notice I am in love with white. My mother always made sure we had white shorts, capris, and skirts every summer. I am always on the look out for white articles of clothing for the summer. I fell in love with this short sleeved New York and Company Jacket. I bought a special flower to go with this little number and I will post a picture of myself with it on real soon.

It doesn't take much money to be "Best Dressed on a Budget"!!!

A little taste of "Best Dressed on A Budget"

Just a little walk into some of the fun outfits I put together with all of the pieces of clothing I find at my local Goodwill and Salvation Army Stores. The majority of these outfits are below $12.00 and less.

Here I'm wearing the Ha Ha Hot Pink jacket with an animal print shell. Remember I purchase most of my shells for $2.99. What I enjoy about wearing shells underneath my jackets is that they are so comfortable because you don't have the tightness in the arms. (If you are like me who has chubby arms) lol

In this picture I'm wearing a wonderful Zebra print vest. I fell head over heels in love with this vest the minute I saw it in the Goodwill ($3.99). This is at my company Christmas party. The black longsleeve shirt underneath was also purchased at the Goodwill for the same price. I was also wearing some wonderful black capris from New York and Company $3.99. I was a big hit in this little number!!!!!!!

This was St. Patrick's Day, my husband and I were going out for the evening to a little Ice House in New Braunfels, TX. The white capri's are the one's I posted in "Real Simple" and the top is a Ralph Lauren shirt in a soft green ($3.99) both purchased at the Goodwill. I added a fun green flower, it was St. Patty's day after all.

Having a blast "Best Dressed on a Budget"

Ha Ha Hot PINK!!!!!

Jones of New York does it again with this Ha Ha Hot PINK nicely tailored jacket. This jacket makes me feel happy and lively no matter what the weather may be outside. I purchased this jacket at the Salvation Army for $5.99, again another one of my favorite pieces.

I am wearing the jacket with a simple black shell $2.99 at the local Goodwill and another skirt from Talbot's also from the Salvation Army this one was $3.99. Believe it or not my local Salvation Army carries lots of Talbot's.

My love of shoes also found these little treasure's at the Goodwill for $6.99 they are a snake skin pink/cream pump with a nice pointy toe. The brand of these pumps reads BP. I am not familiar with this brand but that doesn't really matter because they are HOT HOTT!

The great thing about "Think Pink", it can be worn during any season. In the winter to cheer you up and duriing the summer you will always shine. "Best Dressed on a Budget"!!!

Tangerine and Chocolate What a Great Combination!!! Delicious

This gorgeous tangerine jacket is a Jones of New York fully lined fitted jacket. I enjoy wearing this jacket I picked up at the Salvation Army for $4.99 last summer. Everytime I wear this jacket I receive so many compliments. This day I chose to wear it with some chocolate slacks I found at the Goodwill for $2.99. The chocolate slacks are fully lines and very comfortable to wear. I cannot recall the name brand of these slacks but that doesn't always matter (as long as it fits and feels great). The shell is a cream colored sweater shell is George (Walmart Brand) I paid $2.99.

I also enjoy buying discount shoes at the local Goodwill and Salvation Army. You never know what kind of treasures you will find, will it be Nine West, Cole Hahn, Born, Clark....... I love great quality shoes at giveaway prices.

These nice Nine West at $6.99 purchased at the Goodwill finished the outfit and made me feel smashing. They are a nice pointy toe pump with brown patent leather.

You don't have to spend a fortune to "Dress For Success"!!!

Great Outfits purchased to look "Best Dressed on a Budget"

This outfit here the black & white is one of my favorite. The white summer/winter jacket is from Talbot's as well as the pleated wool black skirt both are some of my favorite pieces. I have visited the Talbot's store on several occassions when I visit the North Star Mall. They have beautiful things, but most of them are out of my budget. I love the style of clothing and if able I would probably shop there, but since I can't and I don't I buy brand new Talbot's at Goodwill and at the Salvation Army. Suit jackets cost between $5.99 to $4.99, skirts are about $3.99 to $2.99, sleeveless white shell $3.99 to $2.99.  I love black and white it is a breath of fresh air to wear white in the winter!!!!!
